Good news! Thailand country has now opened to all tourists coming in to visit without previous Thailand Pass registration effective 1 July 2022. Here are the details for your travelling back to the land of smiles :)
What's changed from 1 July 2022?
Thailand Pass is no longer required for all travelers.
Travel insurance with health coverage of $10,000 US will not be mandatory but it is highly recommended as any traveler who are experiencing COVID-like symptoms should be tested at nearby hospital and get appropriate medical treatment instantly.
Temporary suspension of TM6 card (arrival/departure card).
So what's the remaining pre-arrival requirements?
A valid passport or a border pass for arrivals via border checkpoints.
Valid visa or re-entry permit (if required)
A certificate of COVID-19 fully vaccination for travelers over 18 years old with an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travelling to Thailand.
For travelers with the age of 5-17 years old must get vaccinated with at least 1 dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travelling to Thailand.
For travelers under 5 years old must be traveling with their guardians. Their guardians must follow COVID-19 vaccination requirements as mentioned above.
For traveler who are not fully vaccinated, a negative RT-PCR or professional ATK test result within 72 hours before traveling must be presented when entering the border.
